Business, Ethics & Politics

‘India is no more an ideal place for business’ expressed Mr. Narayana Murthy, Executive Chairman, Infosys Limited recently in an interview to a leading business daily. Mr Narayana Murthy enjoys a very special place in the hearts of Indians, especially the youth as his company has proved that wealth can be created by middle-class Indians legally without compromising with ethics. I had personally interacted with Mr Narayana Murthy last month, when he was here at Nagpur for the groundbreaking ceremony of Infosys which is going to be set up in a massive campus of 142 acres at MIHAN, Nagpur. And I have admired his simplicity and transparency of conducting business.  We all know that Infosys started in 1981 by seven engineers including Mr Narayana Murthy with an initial investment of just US$250. From the beginning, the company was founded on the principle of building and implementing great ideas that drive progress for clients and enhance lives through enterprise solutio

AA AB LAUT CHALE…Excerpt from my upcoming Book-YOU Can't Complete EngineeriNG..?

http://atulycce.blogspot.in/ The Diwali vacations had started and lovers like Manoj were again disheartened by the thought of separation from their sweetheart. My Filmy mind imagined Maneesha getting emotional for Manoj and singing… ‘Kal College band ho jayega, Tum apne ghar ko jaaoge, Phir ek lakda ek ladki se juda ho jayega Wo mil nahi payega.’ ‘We are not so Filmy like you, Rajesh. But definitely we will miss each other. So I have decided to take only two days break for Diwali,’ Manoj informed. ‘And what are you gonna do here for rest of the days?’ Suhas asked him. ‘Of course, Pyaar, Ishq aur Mohabbat ,’ Manoj replied. ‘Now who’s getting Filmy ?’ I asked and we burst in laughter. It showed 11 pm in my watch when my mobile rang. Mayank was on the line. ‘Is Vishal there with you?’ he asked. ‘Vishal, you mean Vishal Raut? No yaar , he is not here. Why? Is there anything urgent?’ I asked. ‘No, nothing urgent as such. But his mom was

Who is AAM AADMI?

After the government formation by AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) in New Delhi, aam aadmi has become a buzzword in India. Everybody is talking about the new party (both good and bad) which has created ripples in the political scenario of the country. It’s not because AAP has scored well in Delhi Assembly elections or has formed a govt. in their debut, but because it has contested elections in a (fair) way which is new to Indian Politics (Remember what Sharad Pawar or Nitin Gadkari has commented about contesting elections within the meagre amount of donation). But the real question here is who the aam aadmi of India is, whom every party claims to be its voter. Indian National Congress, the oldest party of India has the mention of this aam aadmi in its Tagline (Congress ka haath, aam aadmi ke saath), whereas Arvind Kejriwal named his party after aam aadmi . AAM AADMI (and aurat ) as per translation is the common man or woman of our country, the common man who doesn’t have any control
